An index of useful links with tags on the internet, so you can avoid using a bad search engine. Mostly for personal resources, categorising the BEST site for each concept, so you don't need to search it every time. Will feature expandable descriptions later, and tags that aren't expandable. The goal is to be able to CTRL+F for what you want, from a curated list from good tags that aren't just SEO optimisted. If you have changes to suggest - even just small ones like adding/removing one tag - then tell me. You can also request to replace/add sites with new ones.

Osu - free rhythm game, click the circles osu yes, official site for getting beatmaps/charts and making accounts and downlodingf the game etc etc
NexusMods - Has the most Stardew Valley mods.
Gamebanana - Has miscellaneous mods for most video games. Good modding site for looking up random niche games and looking at the approximately three mods they have there (yueah it's sparse usually).
Planet Minecraft - a website that will cover most minecraft download needs like resource packs, skins, shaders, servers, worlds. gnerally the most trustworthy, good directory of minecraft things. only thing it doesn't have is mods
Modrinth - directory of minecraft mods for fabric and forge and neoforge etc. slightly confusing to navigate but looks pretty. just downloading the mods, resource packs, etc here - not the actual mod engine installer runner things
Curseforge - biggest directory of minecraft mods but kinda capitalismy? like they want you to download their launcher which is just a ripoff. modrinth is cooler. but if you want a mod, this is probably the best shot you have because it has a lot of the legacy mods that modrinth doesn't right now.
Optifine - arguably outdated minecraft performance mod. if you have the time, get fabric and a bunch of performance things and nochatreports, but just do optifine if you're lazy and need mincrtaft to lag less/perform better.
MinecraftForge - Not to be confused with CurseForge. This is the site you download the mod installer "Forge" from. Certain mods will need the Forge modloader to work, or they might need Fabric. you can either run Forge, Fabric, Neoforge, or Quilt, but you can't run them at the same time. Has lots of "feature mods" but not the quality of life mods
FabricMC - Best, fastest, modern mod loader for minecraft. Has most of the quality of life mods. get the mods from a mod site and then install fabric and launch mc with fabric to use the mods. make sure the mods are in your mods folder in .minecraft
MRPACK to ZIP - Need a modpack? Copy the modpack ID from Modrinth and paste it in here to download the mods! This means you won't need to use the Modrinth or Curseforge launchers!

Pokemon Essentials - Pokemon fangame development tool for RPG Maker XP. These are default projects that have many built-in Pokemon features, which you can customise.
Cornell Legal Information Institute - law website / directory / dictionary mostly focused on american legal policies, sometimes has good examples
British and Irish Legal Information Institute - old-looking law website / directory, seems to be for UK people unlike cornell
