SHOP BLOCK

The Shop Block is a furniture item on the Prism City server.
Upon right click, Shop Blocks allow you to perform item-based transactions with other players.

The sister item of the Shop Block is the Selling Station.

How to Use - Buying from another player

To buy an item from another player's shop block, right-click on the shop block.
Once you have clicked the shop block, a 3-row GUI will appear on your screen.

Within the displayed GUI, the shop's on-sale items will be shown.
Note: If you see a Barrier Block in the middle of the GUI, the shop block has no items in stock.

The price of an item is shown by its name. Hover over items in the GUI to see their names.

To purchase an item in another player's shop block, click on it in the shop block GUI.
This will then close the GUI and give you the item in your inventory.
The money corresponding to its price will be taken from your ingame bank account immediately.

If you accidentally purchased an item for an exorbitant price, you may be able to ask for a refund from the person who sold it to you - or sue them.

How to Use - Selling to another player

To get started, first craft a shop block using the following recipe:

Then, place down your shop block. You may only have 10 shop blocks on Prism City at a time.
To set the price for the item you want to sell, rename your chosen item (or stack of items) in an anvil.
Then right click your shop block with the newly-renamed item.

Your item should now be in the shop block, on sale for the amount of money you typed in its name.

Trivia

The shop block was added to the server on the 16th of December, 2024. However, it was not fully introduced until later that month when it was added to the server tutorial.
