Prism City: Plot Rules
This is a guide on how plots work.
First off, plots come in three varieties. 1, standard plots - these are a vertical slice of land. it can be one block wide or it can be a few hundred. when you buy a house, this is what you're getting. 2, apartment plots - these are more commonly rented areas, but they are sometimes permanent purchases. instead of taking up an entire vertical slide of the world, it instead may only be a few blocks tall. this means a building can have multiple apartments all with unique owners. sometimes these "apartments" are actually just shops, too. 3, admin plots - these are places such as the mines, spawn, or government buildings. nobody can touch these except admins.
an important thing to note about #1 and #2 is that once you buy/rent one of those plot types, you can always interact with it. generally all the world in prism city is unable to be touched unless a police officer or admin is online, but once you get a plot, you can ALWAYS interact with it. Government plots (type #3) can never be interacted with by regular players.
In terms of pricing, the goverment sells standard plots for $2 per tile in the plot.
When you buy a plot permanently, it can be removed if you are marked as "legally dead." You are considered "presumed legally dead" if you do not join the server for 6+ months. However, if you join within 1 year, the staff will make an effort to get your build back. This rule is unfortunate, but it exists to stop certain players from hogging all the land after quitting.
