haze lingering, i search for a memory

foolish words, i think we drifted apart
only a single note remains

a bittersweet memory
i could have done something, but i stood still
and let it just be a memory

and now, if i were to replay it all
i still wouldn't change a thing
the same mistakes would be repeated
