I also watched a few more episodes of Precure today. I didn't mention it in my previous "diary" entries, but on the 17th, 18th, and 19th, I've been watching it without subtitles. I wouldn't say it's quite "peak," but I've been sort of enjoying it - at least, it's somewhat tolerable for "Japanese immersion," whatever the hell that is (Who knows, honestly).
Trying to read through the transcripts of her videos, all-while doubting this new language-learning hobby I've aquired. Somehow it's recently managed to swallow up my entire soul, and yet it's only been a few days, and yet I don't even know if it's worth it. This might be a dying language after all - lots of people want to learn it, but the people who actually speak it are FAR, FAR slimmer than English. It seems like a backwards idea that takes so much time to learn, even if it sounds/looks cool. I'm just not sure anymore. So please check back here on a future entry to see if I'm still doing Japanese (seriously) in a few weeks.
